How To Remove Recurring And Painful Boils And Scars?

I have been getting painful boils to the point of going to the E.R. Nothing works, antibiotics don t work. Or I develop allergies to antibiotics used. For the past 6 months or so I ve only been getting them on my spine. I use an antibiotics cream on them. But it is painful and reoccurring , and leaves ugly scars. What is this? Will it get worse? Will it go away? Nobody has any answers.

Hello,

You have a history of having painful boils and scars, and also have allergy to oral antibiotics and also to topical antibiotic based creams, you are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Use a separate face cloth and towel. Do not share your toiletries. Apply turmeric paste in water on the boils and scars. leave it to dry for some time and take bath. Do this twice daily.

Or take bath with herbal antibacterial soap (if it suits you) at least twice a day. After patting dry apply a thin layer of mild aloe vera based moisturizer or neem oil. You can take blood purifying tonics. Avoid food that produces a lot of heat like red meat, black pepper, ginger, garlic, onion, etc. Take food like cucumbers, coconut waters, yogurt, peppermint, mint, vitamin C rich food, lean mean, small fishes, etc. Avoid perfumed and chemical based cosmetic lotions. Wash your personal clothes and bedding in hot water frequently.

The scars may take time but it will go away with time (for faster removal you may have to take laser treatment by dermatologists). However, your symptoms could be indicative of serious medical conditions like herpes, neurological, lymphatic causes, malignant cause. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get STD tests, blood and urinalysis, imaging tests done to stay on the safer side. Get treated if the tests come positive.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
