How To Remove Soft Lump At The Base Of Head In A Child?

My grand daughter has a lump at the base of her head. My daughter said it was soft and mushy. It s about the size of a dime. She is seeing the pediatrician next week, but I was wondering if lumps that were mushy were more indicative of being malignant?

it can not be confirmed as malignant without biopsy. it is a benign growth or a cyst so let the pediatrician examine the child you have to wait till then. donot be impatient.
