Hi welcome to HCM... You mother having both ear infection with eardrum perforation.... So first with glycerin pack in ear , ear antibiotic drops and oral course of suitable antibiotic given for control of infection.... Than tympanoplasty operation needed to restore hearing from perforated ear drum... So with this hearing can be preserved and further damage avoided ... Your hearing test should be done for further work up.... If still severe hearing loss there than hearing aid needed ...
