Hi there, I got infection on skin which initially doctor said looks like shingle as it is burning & itchy but today he said could be skin infection as it spread on one side of my cheek. It looks dried up but scars ver dark. Will the scars disappear and how long will it take. Please advise. Thanks. Raji
Thoracic,lumber and facial dernatome commonly involved.
At starting oedematous patches seen in body. After few time small vesicle in cluster can seen in body.
Vesicles are in crop like and unilateral. Attack is last for 2 to 3 weeks.
After healing rash or scarring at lesion side may presrnt.
Sometime crop like lesion present around external auditory meatus that called Ramsay hunt syndrom.
