How To Safely Clear Fish Bone Stuck Into The Throat?

Dear Sir, I had taken Sardine fish last night for my dinner and a small hairline bone of sardine fish has got struck in the throat, I tried different home remedies like having rice, bread, banana, and coke, but nothing helped, what should I do next, if I have to consult a doctor what specialist should I consult, most importantly can he find a small hairline Sardine fish bone in my Throat. I am from Palakkad

Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern.

As per your query you had Sardine fish and after that you have felling of something struck in throat which is a condition you should immediately be concerned about. That piece of bone acting as an obstruction there and which could pass in any wrong passage . This piece accumulating microorganisms there and acting as foreign body.

I would suggest you to visit ENT surgeon specialist is Otolaryngologist for this condition. Get a fibrooptic scan done and a very minor procedure is required which which will eliminate this piece struck there.
