How To Skip A Period For A While?

I am 19 years old and only just started to get my period since I have been taking logynon Ed. For the last 2 months I have tried skipping my period by skipping the placebo pills but I continue to bleed and a bit heavier than normal. How can I skip my period because I need it stopped for a while.
