How To Stop Abdominal Pain And Vaginal Bleeding While On Implanon?
I have pubic swelling below my c-section incision and the surgery was 16 months ago. I just started having abdominal pain and bleeding dark almost black blood. I am on the implanon and my periods have only been spotting since the placement and last only 2 weeks. I have been bleeding almost the whole month of January

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding while on Implanon. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like UTI , vaginal trauma , hemangioma of the vulva or fungal infection . Implanon is type of long-acting reversible contraception, the most effective form of birth control. It inhibits the ovulation and implantation. Sometimes it cause side effects like excessive bleeding or abdominal pain . I would suggest you to consult gynecologist and discuss the condition . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for a week along with anti inflammatory. For now drink plenty of water , eat light , take small meals , take proper rest and take ibuprofen for pain . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist .
