How To Stop Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding?

Period has been consistently on since jan will not go off! Went to the doctors in April and she said nothing was wrong gave me bc pills to stop bleeding it worked for a few days 4 tops still will minor spotting on those four days and now it s July and the period is still on. Not on medication and haven t taken bc pills or any pregnancy prevention drugs for several years should I be worried? How can I make it stop?
