How To Stop Bleeding And Control Blood Pressure After Delivery?
I had a baby 12 weeks ago , I m still bleeding , the bleeding goes away for a week and it restarts again . Right after I had the baby my blood pressure has been high ... I noticed a pattern that when my period goes away my Bp goes high and when I start bleeding it becomes normal ... They gave me medicine but I still feel extremely fatigued please help ...
hi thank you for asking your concern madam and welcome to HCM. hypertension generally couses bleeding during delivery only and even if bp is raised it hardly causes bleeding and that bleeding also stays for few days only and minimal amount. if hypertension is causing your bleeding then it must bleed at other sites like nose or gum. if it is not there then it may be a local pathology or coagulation problem. i would suggest to do complete blood count to check your hemoglobin and platelets. anemia may be causing you fatigue. you will need to add another hypertensive if bp is still high. please do ultrasonography for any retained placenta or any other abnormality like fibroid. after ruling out all this coagulation problelm can be evaluated. please eat iron and vitamin c. if you feel any doubt please ask us. regards dr. Abhijit
