How do you stop the bleeding from a hematoma located in the bicept of your arm? They patient is 97, has congestive heart failure and a number of other serious health problems. What are the complications from surgery to cauterize the Vessels to stop bleeding. Her blood pressure has become seriosly low and she has been given a lot of blood. Profuse bleeding can be managed with ligation this is surgical procedure else the over all bleeding management depends upon the clinical condition and nature of bleeding some this could come around with pressure alone, big vessel can be cauterized, only micro vascular region, need this, hope this information helps, take care.
