How To Stop Bleeding In Ear Due To Sticking Reading Glass In Ear?

My partner stuck the end of his reading glasses in his ear to clean it, yes his glasses, now his ear is bleeding. Have syringed the ear out with warm water, but can still see blood in there. As it is Christmas day and no doctors about for 60 miles/kilom's what do I do for him, oh, he is on Warfrin

Hi, injury with objects used for scratching is very common and should be avoided. The second wrong thing you have done is doing syringing as keeping the ear dry post trauma is important. The blood collected in the external auditory canal post injury is not to be removed usually and the blood usually gets resolved in few days. If bleeding does not stop, you need to see a doctor. Also please do not instill any ear drops. Just y=take an analgesic for pain and keep the ear dry. Regads
