How To Stop Bleeding Of Nose Caused By Injury?

I have a 6 year old boy. Last night he jumped up and hit his nose hard on a shopping cart. Minutes later he started bleeding from both nostrils. I put ice on his nose and was able to stop the bleeding. He went all day today just fine and then suddenly began bleeding again from one side. Again, I was able to stop the bleeding. Should I follow up with his doctor? Could he have a fracture? What else should I look for?

Hello

Yes , it is possible that he may be having a fracture and you should take him to the doctor immediately , please dont delay as sometimes nose bleeding can be massive.
Pinching the nose and applying ice is the right thing to do and you can do it next time he bleeds , but please take him to the doctor , soon.

Thanks
