How To Stop Getting Headaches, Dizziness, Chills And Throat Pain Due To Cough?

i tried taking cough syrup, and tylenol for my headaches. My condition seems to get better but then i feel worse. I have headaches, i m dizzy, i get chills but i am really warm, i have phlegm in my throat and every time i try to cough the outer left side of my throat hurts the most and the phlegm doesn t seem to e going away. My throat feels more swollen than the right side, and i have been drinking lots of fluids and taking naps.

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of headache, dizziness,chills but feeling warm, throat pain, swelling and phlegm which is difficult to get out.

All these problems are due to a bad upper respiratory infection called URTI, it looks that you have either not taken treatment or it dis not work.

I would advise you the following:
Get blood, urine and tests of the phlegm for gram staining, culture and sensitivity.,
Get an appropriate course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines and supportive treatment as will be advised after clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor preferably an ENT Surgeon to get a proper diagnosis and correct treatment.
