Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi.

I understand your concern.

Gutkha contain nicotine and sudden cessation can lead to withdrawal symptoms.

To prevent these nicotine replacement therapy is advisable. Nicotine tabelet in intial period can help to reduce withdrawal symptoms.

Bupropion 150 mg is helpful to reduce craving for gutkha.
Anxiolytic will be useful to reduce anxiety symptoms.

De addiction treatment shoud be done in phases and require strong motivation to quit.

Consult psychiatrist or De addiction center for better assistance.

Glad to help you further.

Thank you.
