Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
Shaving pubic hairs are not advisable. As the hairs are thick and curly, after close shave growing hairs curl inside the skin causing pseudofolliculitis which is very itchy. Moreover the chance of infection of hair follicles post shaving is very high in pubic region. You may trim pubic hair, but do not shave. You may apply Mupirocin cream over the pimples thrice daily (eg:T-Bact cream ). If the shaving is keeping in mind marriage in the near future a word of advice , shaved hair stubble is going to poke your partner and will be painful to your partner when you get intimate. Hope this helped,
Take care.
