How To Stop Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

I have been havin problems with my periods for the last year. I am none stop bleeding. Is there anything I can do my doctor refused do do anything more than birth control. I have been losing weight like crazy and I can t stomach to eat much anymore. I had a surgery last month for endrometerousis and everything has just gotten worse. Please help!!

Hi,
Thanks for writing to hcm.

Kindly consult a gynaecologist regarding medications like ethamsylate and tranaxemic acid which help in controlling excessive continous bleeding during periods. Since it is a prescription drug you need to take the dosage from your doctor . Also the medication dosage needs to be tappered and stopped and cannot be suddenly discontinued.
