How To Stop Swelling In Testicle?

Hi I got hit by a cricket ball on my right testicle and it is swollen up. I have been to the Doctor and they said that everything is fine and to give it some time to become normal again. But every time it look at my testicle I am worried a lot. What can I do to stop the swelling ?

I hope you must have already been prescribed anti-inflammatory medicines; please continue these for a period of 7 to 10 days.
You should use scrotal support so the the scrotum is lifted up.
Bed rest - if possible
Try to find out the exact position by ultrasonography and color doppler examination.
