How To Stop Uncontrollable Burping?

About 5 days ago I began to belch uncontrollably. This is very out of the ordinary because I usually never burp unless I have a carbonated drink. Nothing in my diet has changed and for the most part, I am feeling just fine. Overtime I inhale however, it seems as though some air gets stuck in my throat and gives me the need to burp. Like I said, I feel ok, but the need to burp every time I breathe is getting quite annoying. What could be causing this?
