How To Take Ovrall?

I have a tubo ovarian cyst, they gave me few medication like fazole, ovral l and some antibiotics, If i havent use ovrall they wrote in their site to use in first day of menstrual cycle, I am confused now, sud i use from today or wait for the first day!

Hi,

Fallopian tube and ovary can form a mass in situations like pelvic infection, endometriosis, ovarian cyst with adhesions, etc. Fazole containing Fluconazole, antibiotics help to cure the infection.

Whereas Ovaral L containing low dose combined hormonal pills help to decrease the ovarian cysts.

Usually these hormonal pills should be started during the first two to three days of the menstrual cycle, to maintain the regular menstrual cyclical pattern and if needed for contraceptive efficacy.

If you start in the middle of the cycle, this will disturb your regular menstrual pattern and will not serve contraceptive benefit also.

So, if you are in the middle of the cycle, better to wait till your menstrual period to start and start hormonal pills from first or second day of the cycle.
