How To Take Thyronorm Tablet During Ramazan Fasting?

I am taking thyronorm 50mcg. I take it first thing jn morning. Now during Ramadan fasting month, I have to eat food at 3:30 am in morning. So I take thyronorm tablet at around 2:30 am. Is this OK? Or should I take thyronorm in evening just after fasting gets over which is around 7 pm. But then I will have to wait for an hour before eating anything further. The reason I feel current timing may not be ok is that I am taking dinner by around 11 pm. So the gap between 11pm and 2:30 am is not sufficient. Howevr I I can bring dinner forward to around 9:30 pm. Another reason is - last year my TSH had increased to 27.9 around this time only. I had fasted for only 4 days at that time. I followed same routine last year. Only now I am thinkkng it could be the reason for TSH shooting up. At that time I and my doctor were just surprised. And doctor suggestd pthat stress level can impact TSH. Please suggsst suitable time to take thyronorm during Ramadan.

Hi,

Generally thyroid tablets are advised to be taken half to one hour before food. If not possible, two hours after food.You can start taking your Thyroxine as you have mentioned above and check your TSH levels in 15 days to detect any abnormal levels.
