How To Terminate Pregnancy?

I am 6 weeks pregnant.I wanted to terminate. My pregnancy. I took 4 tablets of misoprostol and again after 10 hours I took the same dose. But I didn t take mefipristone. After few hours I had brown tissue like discharge which is very less with slight cramps. What does it indicate? Would the pregnancy have ended? Please tell me.

Welcome to HCM.

To terminate pregnancy of less than 12 weeks by pills, both misoprostol and mefipristone is used. But this needs to be done under medical supervision.
Since you have taken only one pill and had only brown tissue like discharge, it is better you could consult Gynecologist for proper management.

It is not possible to say just by discharge weather the pregnancy has been terminated. You need to undergo scan to know weather all the products of conception in uterus has been expelled or not.

If any thing is retained inside, it leads to complications associated with incomplete abortion.
