Hallow Dear,
If you have more than 8 weeks amenorrhoea, first get your
pregnancy confirmed by pregnancy test on the overnight first morning urine sample. If the pregnancy is confirmed and it is unwanted pregnancy, you have following options to terminate the pregnancy:
1. WHO has recommended Use of Tab. Mifepristone and Tab.
Misoprostol for termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation. These are prescription medicines and should be taken only as per Gynaecologist's advice. These medicines cause developmental abnormalities in the baby; hence if they fail, the pregnancy should be terminated by surgical method.
2. Surgical Method: After two months of pregnancy, the most appropriate method for terminating the pregnancy would be suction evacuation.
So, please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP to avoid delay.
Once the pregnancy is terminated, you should adopt some reliable method of
contraception like birth control pills, condom or
intrauterine device which will offer you sexual life without risk and
stress of pregnancy. Birth control pills will ensure your monthly regular menses also.
I hope this resolves your problems.
