How To Terminate Unwanted Pregnancy?

I have just discovered I am pregant by taking an early pregnancy test. This means I should only be around 4 weeks. I do not wish to carry on with this pregnancy, and would like to ask if you can take both abortion tablets at first appointment or do I have to go to a second appointment? I m only 22, and most definitely not ready for having a child. I am currently in university and would like to have a career before thinking about raising kids. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern. You can get the abortion done during your first visit provided you are fit. This means you should get a proper clinical evaluation to confirm the pregnancy, blood counts, urinalysis, a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac, exclude an ectopic pregnancy and also to know the age of the pregnancy. Everything done, you can have an induced medical abortion. The process takes 2-3 days. Follow up is after two weeks and this include a repeat sonogram to ensure completion of the process.
