How To Test For Fertility?

Hi, Chey here! First off, I want to start by aknowleging that I an young, ninteen to be exact...but I m curious and stressing over the fact that I may or may not be able to concieve. It isn t that I m trying to have a baby.. But I m not trying to prevent it either... For the exact reason I m here. My ex boyfriend and I, I was about fifteen-sixteen still the time, went at it frequently... He even began ejaculating in me every time and I never fell pregnant. My boyfriend now does the exact same thing. We go at it about every day and I m starting to loose hope that I can t have children. I have been told as a twelve year old that I had a cyst on my ovaries... But I don t know anything about the subject. I just want to be sure I m fertile.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are very young as per history and I don't think you have to worry at this young age for that...

Conception occurs usually when having intercourse during fertile period around ovulation time...

If want to do preliminary check up than following investigation can be done...
-Serum thyroid profile TSH, T4 estimation
-CBC, HB estimation
-ESR
-USG pelvis
-semen analysis of your partner

If you want to conceived than frequent intercourse done during fertile period like between 10 to 18 days of menstruation cycle (In 28 day cycle women)

For ovarian cyst if not resolving than Hormonal pill can be prescribed for that

If after one year of continuous attempt female can't conceive than further work up needed like hysreoscopy, prolactin estimation etc ....

Take care

Consult gynecologist for examination if can't conceive with frequent attempt..
