How To Test For Pregnancy?

I m scared I could be pregnant. I just got off my period about a week ago. I started bleeding yesterday. At first it was red then today it was brownish now it s red again. It s not the same as my period. But I ve been cramping too. I don t understand why this would be happening to me if I ve already had my period. I don t take birth control.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes what a woman thinks is menstruation, can be an early pregnancy bleeding. If you do not use birth control you are at risk of pregnancy.
I would recommend you to have a urinary pregnancy test. If your bleeding is heavy and much more than the usual period you may also need to see your doctor to make sure you are not developing anemia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
