How To Treat HSP During Pregnancy?
Hello my name is courtney carroll and I was wondering my sister was diagnosed with HSP about 2 or three weeks ago. well yesterday she found out she was pregnant after taking an at home test. I was wondering will the HSP effect the pregnancy and is there a safe way to treat the HSP with out using a steroid?

Do you mean Henoch-Schonlein Purpura? If so, there is very little research or experience to guide decisions and she should be cared for by a high risk ob (maternal fetal medicine). I did a search and found only 17 patients (pregnant with HSP) that have been reported in the world's literature.
