Hi,

Poly cystic ovary syndrome usually presents with hormonal imbalance leading to irregular menstrual periods, anovulation, insulin resistance, hirsutism, infertility etc.

According to the medicines you used, Siphene contains clomiphene citrate, it is used for ovulation induction. Orgamed contains medroxy progesterone, it is usually used to induce withdrawal bleeding and to regularize the menstrual cycles. Metformin helps to increase the insulin sensitivity.

The measures that can possibly help you are:
- As progesterone only tablets are not helpful, you can choose combined hormonal pills with androgen receptor blocker like cyproterone acetate which can counteract the symptoms of PCOS
- Have to follow balanced healthy diet and regular calorie burning exercise to maintain optimum body mass index
- Can increase the dose of siphene to get better results.
-If medical treatment is unsuccessful, you may have to choose laparoscopic ovarian drilling, which can help to treat PCOS.

Please discuss these things with your doctor and follow her advice.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
