How To Treat Pharyngitis With Phlegm During Early Pregnancy?
I am7 weeks pregnant and i am having pharangytis .i always have mucus collecting in my throat region which i need to spit out frequently.this is also increasing my vomiting tendency.I m 36 yrs and under aspirin treatment for low utering artery blood flow.please guide
I would recommend amoxicillin 500 mg three times daily for at least 7 days. It is found to be effective to treat pharyngitis and considered to be safe during pregnancy. If you get fever, paracetamol 500 mg may be taken three times daily. I also suggest the following: * Do frequent warm salt water gargling * Take steam inhalation for the soothing effect on the throat and to clear mucus * Avoid cold liquids, which can aggravate a sore throat. * Take adequate oral fluids and be sure to stay hydrated and take proper rest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
