How To Treat A Broken Fore Arm?

hi iam 30 yrs old i broke my fore arm a year ago and had plate implant on radius and ulna but the plate on ulna is very prominent and its corner is also prutruding near elbow so my dr said that he can remove it but not the other one so should i go for it or no as i have to go through the surgery again
