Hi, I had sex with the guy I am seeing who is quite large and I bled. I then had a period 13 days straight (just finishing Sunday) and today I felt a cyst-like lump just inside my vagina. I don't exactly blame him because I had missed a couple days of my birth control because I forgot them out of town so I think my body just thought it was time for my period.. I'm sorry if this confuses you.. But should I be concerned?
You can feel a cyst like lump just inside the vagina. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN. Get per vaginal check up done. Vaginal cysts usually don't need to be treated. Often they will remain small and not cause any problems. However, make sure to let your OBGYN or health care provider monitor the cyst's growth during routine exams.
If polyp is detected, your OBGYN will have to remove it surgically. You might need to have a biopsy of the cyst done to rule out cancer. You will be treated accordingly. In the meantime, take care of your hygiene. Do not try to touch, scratch or pull it yourself.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
