How To Treat A Painful Knot On The Vagina?

This is embarrassing , but I have a knot about the size of a quarter on my left lip of my vagina I cannot see it as it being under the skin ..what could this be ? Its very very painful to sit walk and use bathroom or even touch it ..ive never had anything like this before

it can be infected bartholin gland. todiagnose properly requeres local examination. if confirmed then acourse of antibiotic like injectablepenicilin can be taken. there is noharm by doing stdtest and if married same test cn be done for your partner. for first time it is happening sogo for completeinvestigation and treatment.
