How To Treat A Ruptured Silicon Implant Which Is Still In The Capsule?

Hi, I am a 52 year old female that had silicone implants in the breast 28 years ago due to pre-cancerous lumps and a family history of breast cancer. The left silicone implant has ruptured, but is still in the capsule. Should I merely replace the implant or let the Dr. do a full maxoplexy? I prefer less cutting and a quicker recovery.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.See aslong as the implant is intact there is no problem.
2.You are saying that its rupture, in this case there are good reasons to cause infections / inflammations to the adjacent structures / areas and cause complications.
3.To avoid this according to me you have to get removed or replaced depending upon your underlying medical conditions.
4.But dont delay once the infections start, its difficult. Do the needful.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
