Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain bump and scab formation after ear piercing occurs due to
injury to the soft tissues caused by the pricking needle leading to inflammation and formation of inflammatory exudate as well as
overgrowth of the soft tissues.
There can also be
hematoma formation due to pricking of small blood vessels leading to spilling of blood into the soft tissues..
In case if you continuously traumatize the area by removing and wearing the ear stud the injury can lead to continuous inflammation and healing would delay..
Bleeding occurs as the inflammatory lesion has immature blood vessels which bleed even on slight stimulation along
You need not to worry and you can do alternate warm and
cold compresses on the swelling for relief..
Do not remove the ear stud until the lump heals..
You can apply thrombophob gel over the lump for faster dissolution of hematoma..
Hope this information helps..
