How To Treat A Slight Tear Under Penis Head?

Hi, while having sexual intercourse with my homosexual partner, i noticed a slight tear under the head of the penis. It seemed red and sore when we tried having intercourse again, so we stopped and haven t done it in about a month now. I tried using savlon cream knowing it was an antibacterial cream, on it for a week to no positive relief. In fact it seemed to get worse. My head and shaft/skin seems to be getting eaten away as time goes on. It is very red and raw, the skin has come off on parts and even the doctor says it looks very sore. It isnt very sore though surprisingly. Slightly itchy though. I have been to the doctor and been tested fo everything. It s not a virus or STD. I am awaiting results to see if it is thrush or some form of bacteria. I am very clean down there and always keep it dry.I have used kenacomb cream for 10 consecutive days but it did nothing. it was prescribed by a doctor for me. This was over a week ago now.Is it possible the savlon cream has irritated the cut more or having unprotected sex with my monogamous partner of over 1 year some how infected the cut (being homosexual there is a lot of bacteria in the anus)I have seen a doctor 3 times about this. They said if results come back negative for yeast and bacteria then they do not know how else to help me and made mention of seeing a specialist which i know is very costly. If it could be resolved in a forum like this i would be greatly appreciative. This is scaring me as it seems to be getting worse each day. It is also killing my relationship not being able to provide pleasure to my partner.Any help is good,Kind regards,Marcus.

Hello,

Ideally tear under the penis gets healed by itself but since you have infected it and now it is red and sore, you are suggested to take care of your hygiene. You can apply ointment Soframycin on the area affected for relief. You can take a course of Augmentin (antibiotic) orally for better healing. Be cautious, once it starts healing do not let it get re-infected. In case it is taking time and discomfort increases, you should get it clinically examined by a urologist or a surgeon.

You may need antibiotics via intravenous route for faster healing. If the healing is slow the treating doctor may recommend surgery to remove the dead or dying tissue. You will be treated according to the severity of your disease and the symptoms. You are suggested to avoid sex and penetrative intercourse as it may lead to recurrence due to dryness of skin even after treatment since you have sensitive and reactive skin. Get clinically examined and treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
