How To Treat A Small Lump In Groin With Clear Liquid And Blood Discharge?

A couple of months ago I came across a pea size lump in my groin. Regrettingly I ignored it. It got bigger and bigger and now I have an additional two. There all so painful to touch and the first one has been bruised looking for a while now. I touched the first one earlier on in the bath and it bled? Fresh blood and quite a lot. I went to touch one of the newer ones and the pain was twice as painful. A little clear liquid with blood came out but barely anything as I coulnt touch it for long due to pain. I m in agony and I m actually quite worried as to what these are. The Internet is saying all sorts of things and I m waiting on a doctors appointment which could take up to a week so really want to put my mind at rest. Help!! Thanks.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain small lumps on groin with fluid and blood discharge along with increase in the number of bumps seems to be due to causes like deep seated infection in hair follicles, infected glands under the skin etc..
I would suggest you to consult a General Surgeon and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like culture of the blood and fluid from the lesions can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to apply a combination of antibiotic and steroid ointment..
Apply gentle pressure to removed pus and infectious discharge..
Keep the area clean and dry..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
