How To Treat A Sore In My Upper Left Nostril?

Yes I have a sore in my upper left nostreal and it is very pain at times. This just started about 2 weeks ago, just after I got rid of cold sore. I am not sure how to treat this, but have done what my mom told me and that was to alum to dry it up, but nothing seems to be working? Any idea what would cause this?

As you are having very painful sore in the left nostrils you can try some of the methods at home,best way to get relief from painful sore in nose is to
Apply cold fomentation.
Avoid nasal sprays and chemical fumes
You can also apply a thin film of moisturizer in the inner lining of the nose to prevent dryness.
For boils and furuncles in the nose, you should take prescribed antibiotics and analgesics from your treating doctor, don't take any medicine over the counter.
It is very important when the sores recur frequently.
