Hello
This is a type of blunt injury and there develops contusion ( blood collection with serum also ).
Color of injury also become bluish and red with tenderness .
When such patient visit I first of all get in X ray of injured part to rule out any fracture .
I advise take serratiopeptidae 20 mg twice in day + aceclofenac 200 mg C R twice in day . This treatment advised for 3-5 days depending upon the depth of injury .
Ice massage with complete rest .
Raise the injured part about 4 inches with blocks.
Good luck.
