How To Treat A Swollen Tragus With Pus?

hi, i got my tragus pierced almost two weeks ago. it was okay, just a tad swollen and a little sore to the touch until 4 days ago when it started to get pretty painful and hot to the touch. i thought it was probably normal. then the next day, it began to throb, a yellow-green puss began to seep out and harden around the back of the piercing, and it became more swollen. yesterday, it got much worse. it's so swollen that i had to loosen the jewelry, and the side of my face in front of it is pretty swollen too. it bleeds when i clean it (with saline solution or warm water) and is extremely hot, sore and swollen. should i go to my local piercer or straight to my doctor?

Hi, thanks for your query.
In my opinion, you might be having an infection of the pierced part with abcess formation causing leaking pus.
Please consult with your doctor and get treated.
Unhygienic piercing of ears can cause this.
It is treated by incision and drainage of the pus with oral antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines.
