How To Treat A Week Old Cough And Cold?

I have had a cough for about a week or so, and now when I blow my nose I have yellowish mucus. It is difficult for me to sleep at night. I do better with my head higher. At first when I coughed everything I ate came back up. It is not so bad now. I do wizze alittle. and my mouth is dry.

Hi there.

You seem to be suffering from an allergic phenomenon since your entire respiratory system seems to be involved.
Kindly get a complete blood count test done to check out the severity.

Start an anti allergic like Rupatidine or Desloratidine.
Decongestant like Solvin along with steam inhalation will help.
Hot water gargles.

Avoid taking a cough suppresant and try coughing out the mucus from time to time.
