How To Treat Acute Discomfort In Lower Calf?

Hello, I am experienced acute discomfort in my lower right calf when I am in bed. This discomfort had come on gradually, the area is bluish in color, looks like there are veins present in the area, however they are no bulging, instead they are under my skin. I am traveling on plane this week and want to make sure that I am not dealing with DVT. Please advise

The discolouration of the area is alarming. You need to consukt your GP to evaluate your distal neurovascular status. DVT can be diagnosed early. It can even be just a bruise but proper diagnosis can only be made by careful examination and lab tests.
