How To Treat Alopecia Barbae On My Left Cheek?

Dear sir,
I have alopecia barbae on my left cheek for last three months. Hair is not growing in that place and is increasing in size as big as a ten rupee coin. I used mintop 10 but no result. There are 10-15 scattered white hairs on the affected area. Please help.

Hello,
Dont worry alopecia areata on bread area (alopecia barbae) is a reversible condition even without treatment. The only reason treatment is given because sometimes patients require earlier results. There are many options available apart from Mintop 10. These include following (but most the list will be available only by doctor's prescription):
1. Topical Derobin short contact treatment
2. Topcial steroids
3. Intralesional injections.
4. Topical salicylic acid.
5. Excimer Laser treatment

There are many more also but the most effective ones are given above
