How To Treat An Overactive Thyroid With Small Nodules On The Right Side?

Hi,I m Dana Have overactive thyroid with small nodules on right side. Ha Ve one eye slightly drooping and other bulging slightly and not all the time. Can t decide weather to have whole thyroid removed or half . Please help YYYY@YYYY

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have overactive thyroid nodule. You should go for ultrasound thyroid and decide accordingly. For single nodule only hemithyroidectomy can be done. For multinodular goitre subtotal thyroidectomy should be done.
