How To Treat Bald Spot On Scalp?

Hi. I have one bald spot on my scalp looks like alopecia areata for about 9 years now, this happened after my car accident and was in icu for a week with a halo so i don t move my neck.. after neck infusion surgery, it was a major surgery about 8 hours there has not been any more bald spots beside from that one for many years.. just wanted to know what you think about what it could be?? Thank you!!

Hi,

If the hairs are not growing in bald patch from 9 years,then it may not be alopecia areata. The hair roots may not be there in the skin of patch. It may be pseudopalade of Brocq. Take it easy and accept it. There is no need to take any treatment as there is no chance of growing of hairs in your case.
