Psychiatrist Dr. Abhishek Kapoor's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

In bipolar disorder, due to poor insight, patient do not want to take medication. In that case, you can add drug like olanzapine in his food or you can use antipsychotic drugs like risperidone or haloperidol in solution form. These drugs would take time to get response, but with them, he would improve with time. In case, you need further help, you can consult a psychiatrist or could consult us.

Thanks

Psychiatrist Dr. Munish Aggarwal's  Response
There are medications available which can be dissolved in water or other food substances. But it is not advisable to give any medications to a patient without examining a patient. If your husband is not willing to go to a psychiatrist than take him to a physician and you can request him to refer your husband to psychiatrist or prescribe some medications which can give to your husband and then take him to a psychiatrist
