Hi, so I ve has this small (1/4cm I m diameter) black hole on my leg for probably 5-6 years now and I ve never had any issues with it but finally yesterday something came out of it with a black tip color at about 1/2-3/4 inch in length. Any idea what that would be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of a black hole on the leg. My treatment advice is :

1. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
2. Apply a placentrex gel twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen for pain.

If the problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
