How To Treat Bleeding From A Cystic Acne On Nose?

I get cystic acne on my nose that becomes really inflamed and lasts about a week. I waited till this one became a whitehead and then lanced it with a steril needle and drained it. Now it won't stop filling up with blood. It's not inflamed anymore as I cleaned the infection out, now it's just blood filling it up. Is there any way I can drain it so that it stays drained?

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have blood filled pimples after drainage of pus . Well this is common problem and blood filled pimples is just inflammation . I would suggest you to apply hydrogen peroxide mix with equal amount of water , apply ice pack and apply raw honey on them at night . If condition doesn't get improve in 3-4 days then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin along with anti inflammatory drugs and steroid ointment . For now do not touch or prick pimple with hand or anything and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
