How To Treat Blisters On Nose Caused Due To Sunburn?

I got a really bad sunburn on Sunday (so yesterday) and my nose blistered so I was wondering what could help that? I've been putting aloe Vera lotion on it and tried home remedies to hydrate the skin but it's getting worse through out the day. It didn't have blisters earlier and now there is so many blisters.

Hi dear .

The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as photocontact dermatitis. A toxic or allergic reaction may occur when certain chemicals are applied to the skin and subsequently exposed to the sun. This is called photocontact dermatitis. I would suggest you to stop applying any skin product on face , give cold compresses to your face and apply broad spectrum sunscreen to your face with SPF 30 . Take antihistamine drug like benadryl . If condition doesn't improve within 14 hours the consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment and immunodepressant drugs .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
