How To Treat Blood In Cough?

Hello! I have had breathing troubles and coughing up blood for a few weeks now. They performed one bronchoscopy but weren't able to get all the way down to due inflammation. They are thinking about doing it again, but possibly a CT Scan first. I'm not sure what to do.

I can understand your concern.
Blood in sputum is known as hemoptysis.
Common causes for hemoptysis are lung infection, bronchitis and lung cancer.
So first investigation to be done in hemoptysis is CT thorax.
CT thorax will guide you where to go in bronchoscopy for sample collection.
So bronchoscopy should be done only after CT thorax.
So you should get done CT thorax first then bronchoscopy.
