How To Treat Body Pain,mild Fever And Swollen Tongue Caused After Having Flu?
Hi, 2 weeks ago I had a very heavy flu, every symptoms has gone except for a pain in the right side of through. I also have a decrease in general energy, and little fever. This has been going on for 2 weeks (plus 1 week with the flu I have been sick 3 weekes!). May tongue is swollen and las week it hurt when I move it, but not any more. Hope you can help me. Thanks.

As per your query you have swollen tongue long with low body energy and flu . The most probable reasons for swollen tongue is low immunity due to infection in body . But there are many other reasons for swollen tongue like injury like chemical injury from hot and acidic food or physical injury , infection like strep throat and fungal infection and allergic reaction . I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene , rinse mouth with warm saline water twice a days and also rinse with hydrogen peroxide solution mix with equal mouth of water . Consult doctor for proper examination . Doctor may order test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics or antiviral drug depending upon the diagnosis .
