How To Treat Bruise And Swelling On Leg Inspite Of Using Cortisone Cream For Bee Sting?
My son got what i thought was a mosquito bite on his leg two nights ago. Yesterday afternoon I noticed his leg was swelling, and red. I took him to emergency care where I was told it was a bee sting. Prescribed pedia prednisone, and a cortisone cream. It appeared to be getting better, however, tonight it is swollen and red again, with bruising around the bite. Should I be concerned?

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be insect bite but could be something else and in such suspected case steroid need to be avoided and it need to be managed with antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drug and this would come around with these treatment only, hope this helps take care and have a nice day.
